Jacob Tomsky has worked in hotels for more than a decade, doing everything from valet parking to manning the front desk. He's checked you in, checked you out, separated your white panties from the white bed sheets, parked your car, tasted your room service, cleaned your toilet, denied you a late check out, given you a wake-up call, eaten M&Ms out of your mini-bar, laughed at your jokes, and taken your money. And in Heads in Beds, he pulls back the curtain on the hospitality business.

Where does Heads in Beds rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

After Bossy Pants by Tina Fey and David Rakoff's works, this was a favorite.

What about Jacob Tomsky’s performance did you like?

He fairly took on the gritty and the great of working in the hospitality industry.

Around the time Elizabeth Gilbert turned 30, she went through an early-onslaught midlife crisis. She went through a divorce, a crushing depression, another failed love, and the eradication of everything she ever thought she was supposed to be. To recover from all this, Gilbert took a radical step. She got rid of her belongings, quit her job, and undertook a yearlong journey around the world, all alone. This is the absorbing chronicle of that year.

What made the experience of listening to Eat, Pray, Love the most enjoyable?

Hearing it in the author's voice gave what may have been otherwise flat, an emotional depth.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Texan in chapter "pray". He was down to earth, insightful, and had a great sense of humor.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When the author/narrator decided to end a dysfunctional relationship with her rebound lover who also precipitated her year long journey.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Both.

Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told....

Would you consider the audio edition of Bossypants to be better than the print version?

While I never read the print version, hearing the text in Tina's voice was awesome. I think I wouldn't enjoy the print version as much.

What other book might you compare Bossypants to and why?

    Anything by David Sedaris.

David Rakoff's bestselling collection of autobiographical essays, Fraud, established him as one of today's funniest and most insightful writers. Now, in Don't Get Too Comfortable, Rakoff moves from the personal to the public, journeying into the land of unchecked plenty that is contemporary America. Rarely have greed, vanity, selfishness, and vapidity been so mercilessly and wittily skewered.

Nell Huntworth says: "More wonderful David Rakoff"

What made the experience of listening to Don't Get Too Comfortable (Unabridged Selections) the most enjoyable?

David Rakoff took sardonic and dry humor to a new level. His capacity for the rhythm of language as well as timing of information was unique.

What did you like best about this story?

    David's pseudo-affected tone.

Which character – as performed by David Rakoff – was your favorite?

    Himself!
