My father mentioned that he loved these books and they really are fantastic. Set in a small northern Wyoming town, Craig Johnson really captures the feel of a small town sheriff's life (I grew up in a small town with a sheriff similar to Walt Longmire). The writing is clever and entertaining. George Guidall is absolutely perfect for this narration.
The book is well written, but the audio version features the author droning on in a painful monotone.
