What Paige Campbell saw when she opened a door into 70 years from now scared the hell out of her. She and her Tangent colleagues brought their terrible discovery to the President and were met with a hail of automatic gunfire after leaving the White House. Only Paige survived.

This was a great sequel to The Breach! I almost didn't read this book due to the negative reviews I read, but since I enjoyed The Breach so much I decided to give Ghost Country a try and am so glad I did. The reviews Ghost Country got on Amazon were much more positive and I have to agree. I thought the story was very well done. This book was action packed with a well thought out story. It was a true page turner and the story never let me down. My only disappointment was when the book ended because it was over. I highly recommend Ghost Country!

From a top-secret government laboratory come two genetically altered life forms. One is a magnificent dog of astonishing intelligence. The other, a hybrid monster of a brutally violent nature. And both are on the loose....

    "Great story!! Great narrator!"
    Overall

I loved this Dean Koontz novel. I've read most of his and this was one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the characters,(especially the dog!), and felt they were well developed. I thought the book moved along at a good pace. The story had just the right mix of elements. I thought the narrator was wonderful. I introduced this story to my husband and just last night he commented that the reader seemed to take on the personality of the separate characters which made them come alive. I would highly recommend this book and narrator.
