In a memoir by turns moving, tragic, and hilarious, Jerry Lewis recounts with crystal clarity every step of a 50-year friendship, from the springtime, 1945 afternoon when the two vibrant young performers destined to conquer the world together met on Broadway and 54th Street, to their tragic final encounter in the 1990s, when Lewis and his wife ran into Dean Martin, a broken and haunted old man.

I am not a big Jerry Lewis fan, but after reading this book I must say that I now look at him much different light than I have before. The book is very good.

"For many years, friends and family have asked me, 'Bill, why don't you write a book about your life? You must have had quite a childhood growing up with your dad, Harpo, and those zany uncles of yours, the Marx Brothers. And what about those weird, maybe fatalistic happenings you've experienced that can only be described as 'too-Hollywood-to-believe?" (Bill Marx)

This book is one that, well should not have been read by the author. the production of this book was poor at best, however, some of the insights were very good. And some of the story's were at times dragged out to long. But other story's were the best. If you can get thought the bad production music, it might not be too bad.
