In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

Absolutely! Every friend! This was the most profoundly touching spiritual book I've read, and I've read MANY. Anita's story resonated with me at a core level. Changed me at a core level. Period. Unbelievably beautiful, truly touching, I found myself crying tears of joy throughout the listen.

Would you try another book from Jiddu Krishnamurti and/or Jiddu Krishnamurti?

    Yes

What didn’t you like about Jiddu Krishnamurti’s performance?

Moved so slow that I could not even stand to listen to it.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment

    Any additional comments?

This is not a book, it's a conversation. A painstakingly tedious conversation that, after 20 minutes of trying to give it a chance, still hadn't gone anywhere.

  • Illuminatus! Part I: The Eye in the Pyramid

The Illuminati, an inside joke? The lunatic fringe? Or a vast conspiracy hidden for centuries, unleashing it's power on a naive, defenseless world? It was the lousy luck of Saul Goodman, a tough, streetwise New York detective, to smell the trail in a bombed-out office - the heavy case he'd always dreaded. In a breakneck race against an awesome deadline, Goodman plunges down the trail of the ultimate conspiracy as the days fall away toward Apocalypse.

    No

Would you ever listen to anything by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson again?

    No

Would you be willing to try another one of Ken Campbell and Chris Fairbank ’s performances?

    Perhaps

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment. Disgust even.

    Any additional comments?

I read reviews, so I knew what I was getting myself into, and the story was presented in stream of consciousness/rant format, at times hard to follow, but still intriguing and interesting. That was not really the problem, the content became so dark and dense that I refused to pollute myself any more with it.
