I opted for the abridged version because I felt the full version would be a little boring. If I could do it over again, I'd go for the unabridged!

This book could have been even better had the author cut half of it out. The book seems solely made for individuals in the restaurant biz, which I am. But I found it a little too textbook at times.

The narrator is not as terrible as others have mentioned. He is dry and offers no different character voices, but he reads it well.

After now listening to the audio book and seeing the movie, I am absolutely captivated with the life of Julia Child. While Julie & Julia focuses more on Julie, I believe the author does a great job expressing her affection of Mrs. Child.

I love that Julie Powell narrated the story as well. She does a great job!
