Not as good as the first four because there were too many lengthy flashbacks.
Mike Talbot is the reason I kept reading after the first book. If a Zombie apocalypse actually happened, sanity would likely be in short supply. Mike's battles to protect his family and remain somewhat sane are what is most interesting. Also, trying to figure out why Tommy is helping his sister still.
The narration is great for Talbot even if he does kind of sound like Peter Griffin. The Talbot's are from Maine, but sound pretty "Boston" to me.
Yeah, I now really hate cats!
I have enjoyed all of Manel's books. He writes a sweeping epic.
The hurricane and the final battle are epic scenes that were well performed.
He is very good at capturing the drama of the moment.
You would have to start with book 1 of the series but its a global romp.
Absolutely. Great effort.
All of the good recounting of the survival training experiences and how they might be used in a real world situation.
Lost of great advice.
