New York Times best-selling authors E. Lynn Harris and Eric Jerome Dickey, and Blackboard best-selling authors Colin Channer and Marcus Major have joined forces in Got to Be Real, a compilation of fresh, funny, and honest love stories. Each one is a unique look at love in the modern, urban age. Harris’ leading man faces one of his greatest fears with a Valentine’s gift that could change his life forever.

    Overall

I've made several attempts to listen to this audiobook since I purchased it last year. I've yet to listen to it in it's entirety because it's just too boring. The only one I've listened to to it's end is the one with how Bobby and Alejandra met and I forced myself to listen to that one because of my love for Friends And Lovers. For the most part, these stories are long, dry and dull. I'm going to try one final time to give it a listen because I am a Dickey fan, but if it doesn't capture me this time, I'm going to delete it.

  • Michael Jackson: The Final Years: A Selection from Michael Jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958-2009

In this production, author J. Randy Taraborrelli who spent more than 35 years researching his biography, reflects on the death of Michael Jackson. What if Michael Jackson was never accused of molestation? Why did the Santa Maria molestation trials destroy Michael? What was Michael's life like in his final years? So much has how been said and written about the life and career of Michael Jackson that it has become almost impossible to disentangle the man from the myth.

I've been a fan of Michael Jackson's since I could speak. Loved and still love him dearly. I think Mr. Taraborelli could've done a little more research in putting together the final portion of his book, unless he plans to do another update. So much has been revealed since he rushed to print with this update. For one, Michael Jackson's autopsy proved he indeed had Vitiligo. It also showed his organs were in good condition, indicating he was not an addict, while he might have used pain medication for unpractical reasons at times. And it also seems he might've been the victim of a careless and irresponsible, at best, physician who gave him too much of the powerful anesthetic. I'm hopeful Mr. Taraborelli will do another printing. One with more detail and actual facts.
