The first victim is found in a snow-covered Philadelphia field. Detective Vito Ciccotelli enlists the aid of archaeologist Sophie Johannsen to determine exactly what lies beneath the frozen ground. I got through 3 hours and my heart was pounding. I had to stop for awhile. I will finish it at some point. The torture scenes were too realistic. Would have been better if they were described after-the-fact. Hard to believe a woman wrote this!
