National radio talk show host Mike Gallagher provides a careful study into the psyche of the liberal mind, using humor and irony to both entertain and instruct. A recent Gallup/USA Today Poll (not exactly Fox News Channel) revealed that 42 percent of Americans called themselves conservative, 35 percent moderate, while only 20 percent used the "L" word to describe themselves. Mike Gallagher uses his trademark humor to take the listener inside the life and mind of the American liberal, coming up with 50 definitive things liberals just love to hate.

Where does 50 Things Liberals Love to Hate rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best. This covers so many subject and connects the dots in an intellectual and common sense pattern. Logical answers to life in the US today.

What did you like best about this story?

Humor. Most of the other books pointing out how much danger we are in make your blood boil and eyes bleed. This is an easy listen with a lot of humor. Now at least you can laugh while you cry.

Have you listened to any of Mike Gallagher’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    n/a

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. You always want to hear what the next thing liberals love to hate is.

    Any additional comments?

Facebook will not sell ad space for this book! Ah, the New Speak Dictionary 2012 will not allow the book because of the word hate is not allowed however they use the word "hate" in their explanation. Having listened to the audio version of this book, my opinion is this is a must read or listen. Mike Gallagher actually puts into words all the things you think of but never thought of saying. Kind of like a conservative version of Seinfeld. Light and humorous, should be listened to or read by conservatives and liberals alike. If nothing is making sense to you, listen to George Orwell's 1984 and Animal Farm.

The highest-ranking Soviet bloc intelligence official ever to defect to the West, Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa is at it again. A quarter century ago, in his international bestseller Red Horizons, Pacepa exposed the massive crimes and corruption of his former boss, Romanian President Nicolae Ceausescu, giving the dictator a nervous breakdown and inspiring him to send assassination squads to the U.S. to find his former spy chief and kill him. They failed.

Where does Disinformation rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    In the middle

What other book might you compare Disinformation to and why?

The actual stories mimic everything outlined in Orwell 1984.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

Our government in the USA takes active disinformation to the highest level. They do this in concert with business and mental health.

    Any additional comments?

    Very educational.

  • Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets

Peter Schweizer's bombshell investigation reveals how Washington really works: politicians extort money from us, then use it to buy each other's votes. Our legislators' desire for cash influences everything-from how they write laws to when they vote on a bill...Extortion finally makes clear why Congress is so dysfunctional: it's all about making money, not making law.

Where does Extortion rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the most enlightening books I have listened to. It will make your blood boil. The bastards in Washington are getting wealthy beyond belief on the backs of ordinary Americans. Democrats and Republicans alike. Just like pro-wrestling, these guys put on a show on the camera and conspire behind the scene.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Extortion?

How the Harry Reid extortion machine has gotten incredibly wealthy for doing nothing other than being connected.

What about Jonny Heller’s performance did you like?

Johnny is easy to listen to and ads depth to the performance.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

We have to vote out all established politicians. This is not how the country was designed to work.

    Any additional comments?

    A must listen to.

Running with Scissors is the true story of a boy whose mother (a poet with delusions of being Anne Sexton) gave him away to be raised by her psychiatrist, a dead ringer for Santa and a lunatic in the bargain.

    Story
What did you like best about Running with Scissors? What did you like least?

This story proves what common sense and all psychology knew prior to the American Psychological Association removing homosexuality as a disorder in 1973 from the DSM.

Dysfunctional - abnormal relationship of son to mother. Distant dad, lack of bonding. Drug and alcohol abuse by "gay" minors. Sexual predators taking advantage of young boys. "Mental health professionals" that are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

This list goes on. If you have someone having difficulty with unwanted Same Sex Attraction in your life, it is probably good to read this type of story, watch movies like Brokeback Mountain, and Family Stone to see the pattern.

Never let someone tell you a child is "gay". Research the term "same sex attraction" and get your kid away from anyone encouraging this type of behavior.

Like it or not, facts are facts and over 17,000 of our beloved children, friends, classmates, workmates, and citizens die of AIDS every year, almost all preventable and yet this dogma is forced down our throats by the liberal media.

What was most disappointing about Augusten Burroughs’s story?

Another heart wrenching story about a young man not allowed to mature to his true nature. Kids do not know crap and just because they feel different does not make them "gay". It does however make them a target for pederasts.

Which character – as performed by Augusten Burroughs – was your favorite?

    Dr. Finch

Do you think Running with Scissors needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

The only way this story needs a follow up is if Augusten, like Dorothy, realizes his true nature, overcomes his homosexuality, gets married and raises a normal family.

If you read the stories of men who have left homosexuality to live vibrant and fulfilling lives, it will renew your faith in God and humanity. It will also cause you to leave the Democratic Party.

    Any additional comments?

Thank you for sharing this story Augusten. God Bless you.

It’s amateur hour at the White House. So says New York Times best-selling author Edward Klein in his political exposé The Amateur. Tapping into the public’s growing sentiment that President Obama is in over his head, The Amateur argues that Obama’s toxic combination of incompetence and arrogance has run our nation and his presidency off the rails.

What did you love best about The Amateur?

A chronological and well documented history of who Obana is and where he comes from.

What other book might you compare The Amateur to and why?

To understand how so many have been led away from American tradition and history, STILL THE BEST HOPE by Dennis Prager is a must read.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me cry to realize how much danger our country is. The USA is not a Socialist Country, never has been, never will be.
