By the time I finished these units I was conversting about food and drinks in Spanish and felt confident!
The best thing about pimsleur is its subtle progression, you don;t realize until you are well into Unit 11 that the gap of time for you to translate is shorter and you are actually translating faster!
This is a great read and a wonderful beginning to the Women's Murder Club. 1st to Die is suspenseful, funny and sad all at once. I wanted to listen to it all in one day!
This book is so fast paced and such a great listen! The co-narration is fantastic, makes you feel like it is really happening, I would recommend this book to everyone!
The cool thing about listening to Zero Day is you know "something" is going to happen and yet you never really are prepared for what happens. Great on the edge of your seat suspense!
One of my favorite scenes is the end, can't say anymore!
This is a great read! It makes you think about what would happen if the US was struck by a major catastrophe.
This is one of the more interesting Bosch books. Connelley does a great job bringing Irving back into the picture and shows a softer side of Bosch. The story is fantastic and sit at the edge of your seat suspensful!
Although a work of fiction, so much of this novel rings true...Teenagers reveal so much of themselves through social networking.
I found myself sitting in my parked car in front of my house because I couldn't stop listening!
This book keeps you at the edge of your seat trying to figure out what will happen next.
Fun read for a road trip! Listened on the way to Oregon form Los Angeles, made the late night driving fun, most definetly kept me awake, laughing.
Ellen's short story telling is light and entertaining
This book made me laugh, hysterically
This is one of the best Bosch series books, the best thing Connelley could do was get him back on the force and partners with Kis! I missed Harry on the force, and think many of us did. The book revolves around a 17 year old unsolved case of a young girl murdered. The story reminds us Harry is a bit rusty and Connelley craftilly shows us Harry's vulnerabilities while still keeping him gruff.
Absolutely amazing, thought provoking and chillingly real. An updated version of a timeless novel by one of the great authors of this century! The book starts quickly and keeps going and going!
