"Wonderful. Better than I ever expected...."
I am not a memoires type of reader, however, this caught my attention right at the beginning and held it all the way through. At times almost too "playful" at first, the style quickly grew on me. I am looking forward to reading "I Am Not Spock" now that I have finished this.
He really manages to bring 2 characters (Himself and Spock) too life....
"A wonderful, laugh out loud good time!"
The only problem I had with this was the many times I was forced to drive on past my destination in order to finish a chapter. It starts off good and only gets better. Nice afterword with Ruth Reichl as well.
I have lately been reading/listening to many books by cooks/chef/restauranters -- this is a very interesting look from the "other side of the table" so to speak.
Well done!
""where's the beef"?"
This thing JUST gets started (I know the name) but still...it has nothing except a very basic intro to optoins. It was worth the 7.00 however...but look elsewhere if you already know even the most basic about options.
"A wild ride, got me back into investing"
I really enjoyed this book. Tim's honesty and humor really carried the day. I did learn quite a bit about trading, not the "how to's" -- there are plenty of resources out there for that -- but the mind set. His honest assessment of his accomplishments and mistakes is well done. Tim never misses a chance to poke fun at himself, and he also never misses a chance to brag -- although he pulls them both off in a light way. Bretty Barry does a excellent job reading the book. Highly reccommend.
"Fun, fun, fun"
What more can you say? Nothing deep here, but certainly a fun read and a good romp. Heinlein has always entertained and certainly does that here as well. I really enjoyed the full cast reading - I am going to look for more of their stuff!
"Good -- not great -- but good"
I enjoyed this book - a *little* predictable is my only complaint. Well read and entertaining. Worth the money.
"started me on the right road"
I am 41 years old and I absolutly loved this book. I have purchased 3 print copies which I have given away to friends (this is NOT someting I am prone to do) and they have all enjoyed it as well. I think the book is very well written and well read - I enjoyed both voices - although the person reading Chris's part does go over the top now and then. Remember, this is a book written in a "man to man" style - women - don't complain if it does not speak your language! Take a look at "younger next year for women" instead.
