But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness. Now, he is going to prove that for him, there's no gray area between killing for a living-and killing to stay alive.

"This is for men or Action Lover."
    Overall

Am a women but I lived with three "HE-MAN" types so I loved this one. Court is everything you want in your "Action Hero" type, the suspense was none stop.
I liked the voices and the music, Audible is better then ever.
The only thing missing is a little romance.

Determined to sever his ties with the Office, Gabriel Allon has retreated to the windswept cliffs of Cornwall with his beautiful Venetian-born wife, Chiara. But once again his seclusion is interrupted by a visitor from his tangled past: the endearingly eccentric London art dealer Julian Isherwood. As usual, Isherwood has a problem. And it is one only Gabriel can solve.

Alexis says: "Silva and Gigante -- A Superb Team!!!"
"This is the best one yet."
    Overall

I liked everything about this one, the story, the players and as always the voices that really make it. I like hoe Allon is maturing as the stories go on.

Six months after the blood-soaked conclusion of Moscow Rules, Allon is in Umbria, trying to resume his honeymoon with his new wife, Chiara, when a colleague pays him a shocking visit. The man who saved Allon's life in Moscow and was then resettled in England has vanished without a trace. British intelligence is sure he was a double agent all along, and they blame Allon for planting him.

    Overall

Lots of exciting action but much violence. It's a little hard to believe that a man, Gabriel Allon, of such cold-blooded violence could be so soft hearted about other things. I guess we all want to believe there is some redeeming values in everyone.

Michael Forsythe is contacted by his former lover, Bridget, a New York Irish Mob boss, whose fiancé he killed. Bridget, calling from Dublin, says that her 11-year-old daughter has been kidnapped. Michael's choice is to fly to Dublin and help her find the girl, or be executed at the hands of Bridget's goons, who are holding him at gunpoint. He agrees to nothing, but is soon on the way to Dublin, leaving the first two of many dead bodies in his wake.

Johnnie Walker says: "SIX STARS ******"
"Adrian McKinty is now on my favorite author list"
    Overall

This continue the story started by "Dead I Very Well Maybe". You will want to hear this one, an excellent listen with all the right Irish and NYC accents. The story has a big twist at the end. I heard this in 2 days and all my yardwork got done.

Young Michael, an illegal immigrant escaping the troubles in Northern Ireland is strong and fearless and clever, just the fellow to be tapped by Darkey, a crime boss, to join a gang of Irish thugs struggling against the rising Dominican powers in Harlem and the Bronx. The time is pre-Giuliani New York, when crack rules the city, squatters live furtively in ruined buildings, and hundreds are murdered each month.

Robert says: "What an amazing book"
"This is a great one for Audible."
    Overall

I really liked this story and the best way to enjoy it is to hear it read to you with all the Irish accents. My emotions for the main character went from rutting for him to not liking him and back and forth, mirroring my life about myself and everyone else.
And did NOT end as I excepted, great job!

It isn't easy to steal warheads from the heart of Russia's nuclear complex in Mayak. It requires a great deal of money, coordination, ingenuity, and sleight-of-hand, and just a touch of luck. But if you're determined enough, anything is possible.

"I liked this one the best, so far!"
    Overall

Once again we are hearing about another aspect of John Wells personality - his relationship with his work. I very much enjoy this character, I also like seeing how he changes or make a mess of his life.

A new administration is on its way in, but the president has a few power moves left to see his legacy solidified. I liked this book from the very first moment I listened. A very good story with a tight timeline for adventure lovers. And an interesting main character that I could relate to him and his childhood, and his life. And has a twist at the ending that left me 'jaw dropped'.
