This is an excellent introduction into neuroscience. If you are worried that this field of study might be to complex to understand, you will love the everyday explanations the author uses in this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in understanding how their own brain works.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is one of the most fascinating books I heard in a awhile. I am well read in psychology, brain science and human behavior and I really enjoyed the anthropology point of view of the author. I bought this book after hearing her speech on Ted Talks. Excellent presentation, I couldn't stop listening and was disappointed when it was over.
