    This story went nowhere and took forever to get there! If you like pointless detail that adds nothing to the story, this is your book!

    The only reason we listened to the whole story was because we could not believe a book could be totally worthless, but we were wrong.

    Dave Robicheaux returns in another Bayou adventure, this one more gruesome and gut-wrenching than any that have come before. Police are shooting randomly at innocent people, prison guards have abandoned their posts, and bodies float through the streets and hang from trees.

    Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

    The story was entertaining right up to the last chapter, then it's like the author had reached his quota for words and simply ended it. Kind of left me cold!
