They couldn't have picked a better person to narrate this lovely story. Jenna Lamia brought every character alive, let you get inside of them, feel their emotions. It's such a wonderful story of life, companionship, love, forgiveness, bravery, dignity. Don't pass this one up.

I admit, I haven't finished it, so I can't really judge the story. I just can't listen to it that long, Frank Muller's reading of this story annoys me so very much. Coupled with the fact that I really don't care for pure fantasy, I'm not getting my hopes up. But I will write another review if things are different a few hours down the road.

I did enjoy the book and it was performed well, but it seemed to be building up to something that just never panned out the way i was hoping for. It was like the author was afraid to be bold enough to just go for it and stretch the main character a little beyond her comfort zone. Would have liked a bit more length, more detail, and more dimension. It was a sweet story with an endearing character, but frankly left me wanting a bit more.

Unlike most of King's books, these characters were one dimensional. As they bit the dust, one by one, I never cared. Also the reader made me sleepy.

With a combination of the best in fiction writing and the best in performance, five stars isn't enough for this book. Weber brings every character to life almost to the extent that it feels like an ensemble performance. And if you are basing your opinion of this book on the movie, just get that out of your mind. Its a fabulously rich story with characterizations classic of King. Don't pass this one up. 40 hours goes by faster than any book I've ever listened to. I finished it and started right back up at the beginning to enjoy it again.

I usually get bored with books this long, but this one was one of those you cannot put down. It was exciting intriguing and bittersweet with endless twists and turns. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Simply fantastic. Beautifully performed. You can feel it, smell it, touch it. The only thing wrong with it is it had to end.

Its just a fantastic book. Every character is so real. The performances are grand. Is this fifteen words, yet? Just get it.

Holter graham was wonderful. Im not much of a horror fan per say but this one got me. Excellently performed, the nuances of the characters that king so expertly develops are brought to life and the story itself is fantastic. Highly recommend especially if you appreciate the detail king gives the reader to totally immerse themself in the experience.

I'm terrible at writing reviews. Get it, you won't regret it. The narration is great, and the man tells a wicked story of his life. It's inspiring.
