Read beautifully and clearly. It is easy to get lost in the story and characters with this reader. Audiobook is an easy way to dive into the classics while exercising, working or traveling. Moby Dick is an incredible adventure with lovely and formidable characters challenging "evil" in the mysterious, primordial ocean.
Wonderful! Beautiful. Painful and poetic. Firth brought the story so vividly to life in my imagination that I can hear him and the pain of the three characters reverberating still. Greene and Firth make God live in the most real and tragic way.
The pain in Firth's voice embodied the anguish of the narrator.
Reading was impeccable, capturing creepy or sassy very well.
Lack of complexity. Beautiful people who are perfectly interesting and good. Boring.
Great tone, timing and tension.
Very human and a fun ride.
Her outrageous rock 'n roll cowboy singing. And when she is reunited with her real parents in England. Bless them.
Pippa--she's wonderful. Lively, witty, kind and she knows how to MAKE TEA! I also love her ambiguity in finally loving her whole self as an English American.
Thanks to Alison Larkin.
Gaskell captures the ambiguity of the situation for "masters" and "hands" through the sensitive attention of Margaret Hale. Juliet Stevenson reads beautifully, interpreting the sense of the characters and the feeling of their struggles.
