Secret Service agents, acting as human surveillance cameras, observe everything that goes on behind the scenes in the president's inner circle. Ronald Kessler reveals what they have seen, providing startling, previously untold stories about the presidents, from John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson to George W. Bush and Barack Obama, as well as about their families, Cabinet officers, and White House aides.

Ok, so I normally don't read the reviews before downloading a new book but I wish I had in this case. From the very start I was turned off by this book.

I downloaded this book expecting to hear information and stories about the secret service and how they do their job. Instead it starts like a gossip column with dirty secrets about 2 past presidents. And continues to intermix private details of the president's life with the story. Also, a re-occurring theme of the book is all of the tasks that the secret service is tasked with but how it gets almost no money (and therefore no resources) to do the job. I'm sorry but after hearing this 2x in the book I lost any sympathy for the author's point of view. Who doesn’t deal with this on an almost daily basis in their job these days.

So again, skip this download and look for something less like a supermarket tabloid. If I find any good alternatives, I’ll update this review with them.

This landmark production, perhaps the most ambitious radio project ever attempted, began when Star Wars creator George Lucas donated the story rights to an NPR affiliate. Writer Brian Daley adapted the film's highly visual script to the special demands and unique possibilities of radio, creating a more richly textured tale with greater emphasis on character development.

I bought this for my son who has become a HUGE Star Wars fan. I was very dissapointed to discover this wasn't an audiobook per se, but a combination of the radio broadcasts! My bad for not doing my research, please don't let this happen to you.

High in the mountains, deep in the safety of a cave, a brood of dragons is born. The four young ones are among the last of a dying breed---the final hope for dragons' survival. But hope shatters when a murderous group of slave-trading dwarves breaks into the cave, leaving death and destruction in its wake. Only young Auron, a rare scaleless gray dragon, manages to escape.

I have always loved books about dragons. I've read the Pern series, the DragonKnight books, The Dragon Prince series, etc., so I am no stranger to these types of books. Lately however, I had wandered away from these books to explore other nooks and crags of the literary world. Nothing has drawn me in like the books I read in my youth. So, in a desperate night of searching audible for an enjoyable, enthralling listen I stumbled upon Dragon Champion.

First off, let me be clear here in that I have yet to finish the listen (I'm about 3/4 of the way through) but have already downloaded the second book in the series!

It has rekindled my love for these books. I listen to this book in the morning as soon as I awake and get ready for my day and at night as I am winding down. The story is gripping and the narration superb.

If your a dragon lover like I am (as I write this I have 5 dragon figurines on my desk watching over me) go ahead and spring for the download, your inner dragon will break free and soar!
