"Baby I’m Hooked, this is a great new series"
I am so pleasantly surprised. I loved it. The Armstrong brothers are totally hot. This story is somewhere in between Robyn Carr's Virgin River series and some of Debbie Macomber’s early work about the guys in Alaska who were building a town. I absolutely love how Stephanie Bond develops the lead male character; Strong, sexy, vulnerable, and lots of appeal. Who falls in love with the new female doctor in town. This story is cute and light hearted and just what you need to make you smile. I can't wait to get the next one. I hope they can rebuild this beautiful town. Narration was superb.
"Wild Heat & Sparks equals a hot sultry romance"
Bella Andre, has done it again. This one is a hit with me. This story starts out smoking hot and I don't mean the heat from the fires. This story also develops into somewhat of a surprise for me. I expected a great romance, but what I did not expect was suspense or a crazy killer on the loose. I could not put this one down.
Maya Jackson is the female lead who is immediately attracted to the hot sexy Logan Cain. These two have a brief encounter and six months later, they meet again and sparks really start to fly. It was really fun seeing the physical attraction between Maya and Logan turn into to something deeper. I am about the listen to this one again, it’s that good!
"I Love the World of Thunder Point! It's a Hit w/me"
I have become a fan of Robin Carr. If you liked the Virgin River series you will like the world of Thunder Point too. Carr has a way of mixing romance and a great story and I have come to expect this from her novels. This one is no exception, the wright amount of character development and hot steamy romance to make me wish the next installment was already available for download. Therese Plummer shines as the narrator and made this audio come to life. She is really great with the male and female voices. Sometimes a narrator can kill a good story, Plummer just adds to this one. In my opinion Carr and Plummer are a great match. I promise you will love hearing about Sarah and Cooper who are the main characters. Then there are several side supporting characters with equally blooming romances. I just can't say enough I loved this one.
"On The Edge of My Seat and Panting, 5 Star Listen!"
OMG, I can't believe this book was so good. I was on On The Edge of My Seat. Panting and totally captivated. This is definitely a 5 Star Listen! I have been waiting a long time for Rachel and Trent to come together. Rachel is powerful and together Rachel, Trent, and yes Al; well let’s say there is no stopping them. Finally a lot of the questions were answered about the origins of the Elf’s and the demons. The only negative thing I can say is that the next book is not ready for download. I can’t wait, I want more. Kim Harrison’s Ever After is outstanding. The Narration, by Marguerite Gavin brings this story to life. No one could have done it better.
"Typical but good Diana Palmer"
Typical but good. I like this because I can trust that a story by Palmer will not disappoint. I have wanted to hear the story of Jon Blackhawk for a while now. So glad I took the time to get this one. Jon is tall, dark, sexy and sweet. Sometimes life is stranger than fiction so I could really buy into the premise of this story. Jon and Joceline have one night of passion, but Jon does not remember. Joceline has been keeping a little secret for year from Jon, but finally the truth will come out and its love and happiness for this couple. I found it to be an enjoyable and touching.
"Stumbled onto great new series, love the McCabe’s"
I have not been so excited about finding a new series in a long time. I have much love for the Highlander romances and this one is terrific. Ewan McCabe is the oldest brother. He meets and falls for Mairin who is the illegitimate daughter of the king. Mairin has been in hiding for most of her life. Ewan's clan has been devastated. Mairin has prized property and the finances to save his clan. It’s not love at first sight but it gets very steamy for these two on the road to the happy ever after. I also liked the danger and intrigue which added an additional layer to this story. One of the most touching elements is Marin’s relationship with Ewan’s son from his first marriage. I totally loved this story and I am hooked. Can’t wait to get the rest of the books and hear the stories of the other brothers which were hinted at in this story. This is a promising new series and honestly I was hooked after the first 30 minutes. Great story, great characters and great plot and the narration is outstanding. I am a Maya Banks fan now! I have listened to this one 2 times already. ****Five Stars****
"2 great holiday stories for the price of one!"
I have to say I am so glad I got the Blaze subscription. I like getting great titles that are a surprise to me. I also like checking out new authors. Very nice that two titles are automatically delivered every month. With this selection it was worth it because I got two great stories in one.
The 1st story is the "The Prince Who Stole Christmas" by Leslie Kelly. It’s a cute fairy tale about a prince who comes to New York to find the love of his life. That prince would be Phil and the love of his life is Claire Hoffman. The things these two find do with chocolate; well let’s say it's very steamy. I give this 5 starts. Narration - good.
The 2nd story is "My True Love Gave to Me" by Jennifer LaBrecque. This one was so touching. Two best friends grow up together, but grow apart as adults. Trudy and Knox find each other again. Knox now has to win back the best friend he took for granted. I love stories that take place during the holiday season. Trudy and Knox turn up the heat and the sexual tension is totally hot between these two. Very believable characters. This one gets 5 starts too, narration also very good.
"Five star surprise, Hot romance worth the credit"
Ely Berringer is this nice guy that is very clean-cut, cute, and sexy and all man. He meets Lydia who knocks him for a loop. After being a part for a while they meet up again. At their first meeting Lydia helps to patch up Ely who has a broken heart. Now it’s Ely's turn to help Lydia patch up her heart and mistakes from her past. This aspect is what made me really like Ely; he really does care for Lydia. Lydia did a terrible thing when she was a teenager and she can't get passed it without Ely's help. In the middle of these two love birds dealing with emotional baggage there is a sub-plot going on that adds an element of danger to the story. All of this is going on during the holiday season which Lydia does not like to engage in. This is a great holiday story, but it would be a great listen anytime really. Not to mention the romance is hot, hot hot! The narration of the story was excellent. I will be looking for more books from this author and narrator.
"Charming love story with some heat"
I really loved this little story. It actually has some LOL (laugh out loud) moments. Rafe hears his neighbor making sexy sounds and discovers that she does it in her sleep dreaming about him. These two lonely and damaged people have similar circumstances and coming together they rescue each other. The power of love is wonderful. Author does a great job because the characters are very realistic and believable. The narrator is also good which made this an enjoyable listen. Love the Blaze books.
"Bound To Please is a short but sweet treasure"
Brianna MacLeod and Ewan Fraser met at a gathering as very young teens. They capture each other’s heart. They promise to marry but evil doers who are plotting to destroy Brianna family keep them apart. Flash forward 10 years and Brianna is now the new laird of her clan and she wants a child to help establish her position, so she kidnaps her long ago love Ewan. That is when all the fun starts. This story is packed with emotion and romance. This is a Blaze romance so it does not disappoint in that respect, you get the hot steamy romantic parts, but to my surprise this story was very touching and had a great story line. I actually purchased this story back in 2010 and decided to listen to it again and wanted to review it. I think I liked it even better the 2nd time around. This was a great little book; I just want to find more from this author. And yes the narration was terrific. Well worth the credit.
