The book was fantastic, but the audio was terrible for many chapters. I don't know if this was a problem for Audible or the publisher.
I was very disappointed after having listened to this book. It was an attempt to refute the interpretation of God's character by Rob Bell. While I currently do not agree with every idea that Pastor Bell shared in his book "Love Wins", I think he did a masterful job at describing the beauty of God's character. It makes me sad that so many of us still have a view of God that is painfully sadistic and cruel, and we justify our view of Him by saying "God is Sovereign, so he can do whatever He wants". Let us not forget that God is Love, and He is not double-minded. In my opinion Francis Chan used the justice of God as a justification for cruel torture that even the worst humans are not capable of.
With that said I did agree with Francis Chan that sin is a terrible thing, and must be taken seriously. This is the biggest problem I had with Rob Bell's position. What both authors failed to realize is that sin is not "breaking a rule", "it's breaking a relationship", and because of it's addictive nature it would unravel the whole universe if left alone to cultivate for ever.
Lastly, Fancis Chan is a very dull reader. I had trouble staying focused because of his monotone voice
