I feel guilty about the price I paid for this audio book. It was not a bargain but a really really good buy. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a romance with a mature H/h. I buy all of LH books, Emily Gray was a good narrator but I love Susan Ericken so much better.
This book is mixed with humor, bible verses, and how to break bad habits that could lead to financial disaster meaningless behavior. I will be looking forward to reading more my this author.
I have no clue what verse, chapters or books I'm in. this is on going reading with no book marks. If you want to read Genesis, Exodus or Levitcus, there's no way to found them. No titles to any books on this audio. I don't have I tunes so I can't change the parts. Nineteen parts with no titles. BIG miss!
You can't go wrong with Lorraine Heath. When ever I go through multiple audio books and come up short, I return to good and faithful authors I know will deliver. LH is one of them.
This one is just to repetitious, the some thing over and over again. The performance kept me in.
This was a great inspiration. I was doing the Daniels fast and wanted to listen to something inspirational and something that would keep my attention. This audiobook talkes about faith. Hosea kept believing and trusting in Gods word without understanding or seeing his happiness come to past. You will also see how lifes challenges could make a person bitter and not believe you are worthy of anything good. It will show you what he will do for the smallest believer.
I was in love with A Light unto my path, and I was looking for that same fix in her next two books but didn't quite find it. This one leans a lot more into the civil war.
This was an ok read/listen, I didnt know until the end that its a true story, in this case, I'm glad the ending wasn't bad.
The story line was interesting, but the heroine was just to forgiving and it frustrated me. The narrator was good as usual.
This is my first time listening to this author and narrator, this book should me labeled light erotica it had submission and talk of rape. I didn't see a HEA but its there. The story was very believable. I believe like fifty Shades of Gray this is a first for HR and I hope its not the last. I love to read/listen to close to the edge novels. I would have given this five stars if I didn't have to adjust to the narrators male voice it was a little laughable at times, but the story kept me tuned in.
Kassia is the most innocent gullible person I've ever read about. She was so annoying it was hard to listen to the complete book. The reason for the three stars is because I continued until the end.
