  • Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living your Dreams

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 58 mins)
    • By Mike Dooley
    • Narrated By Mike Dooley

Manifesting our dreams isn't about hard work -- it's about belief, expectation and, above all, knowing the truth about our place in the universe. Mike Dooley's manifesto, Infinite Possibilities, affirms that in our world of illusions there is no finite allotment of whatever your heart desires, especially not happiness, and that experiencing more love and new possibilities is limited only by the scope of our ability to imagine and act upon each.

    C says: "Surprisingly intelligent"
    "Disapointed, it's "New Age"."

There are at least three things I know: There is a God, it’s not me and it’s not you. I do embrace the encouraging idea of living a life of “Infinite Possibilities” I would not have purchased the book knowing it was written from the “we are all Gods” point of view.

  • Unlimited: How to Build an Exceptional Life

    • UNABRIDGED (7 hrs and 49 mins)
    • By Jillian Michaels
    • Narrated By Jillian Michaels
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Many self-help books offer a lot of new age platitudes and sappy mantras: Just love yourself. See the glass as half full. Really? That’s not how it works, and you know it. A lifetime’s worth of struggle is not overturned in a small moment of positive thinking. But if you have the right attitude - attitude and skills - you can and will accomplish anything and everything you want. This book gives you both, attitude and action. By its end you will have all the tools you need to change your life. No hype. No false promises....

Neal says: "Interesting book, if your willing to work"
    "Good message,vulgar language."

Ms Michaels has a good message to share, however; I was very disappointed with her vulgar language. I completely understand that at times as a personal trainer or even a drill instructor it can be effective to use a more dynamic vocabulary to cut through the target person’s mental fog. Use of certain words “the F word” in this format only comes across as vulgar and very poor taste. I just see that her choice to include these will eliminate a large number of people that would otherwise benefit from the message.
The irony here is that the discipline Ms Michaels found to be a life changing tool for herself in her teens could be applied to her speaking skills to help attain her goal of helping a greater number of people.

  • Become Who You Were Born to Be: We All Have a Gift....Have You Discovered Yours?

    • UNABRIDGED (8 hrs and 35 mins)
    • By Brian Souza
    • Narrated By Don Leslie
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Just as musicians must make music, poets must write, and artists must paint, we all have a unique gift designed for a specific vocation that will bring both meaning and purpose to our lives. Become Who You Were Born to Be is a blueprint for discovering your unique gift and using it to realize your personal and professional potential. And to illustrate his life-changing philosophy, Souza relates true stories of both everyday people and world-famous celebrities.

    D Farley says: "Fantastic"

This audiobook is simply amazing! Of the hundreds of motivational and inspirational books and recordings I own, this may be the best I have heard. Just as the author explains in the beginning, he has managed to define the core questions many of us have about our life's work. This is also the first book of its kind I have seen that doesn't make assumptions on a persons spiritual convictions regarding a "path in this life". I am strongly Christian in faith and really appreciate the way Mr. Souza demonstrates through countless examples how the responsibility to do or be anything is on us! We are all born with more potential than we will ever use.
