"Disapointed, it's "New Age"."
There are at least three things I know: There is a God, it’s not me and it’s not you. I do embrace the encouraging idea of living a life of “Infinite Possibilities” I would not have purchased the book knowing it was written from the “we are all Gods” point of view.
"Good message,vulgar language."
Ms Michaels has a good message to share, however; I was very disappointed with her vulgar language. I completely understand that at times as a personal trainer or even a drill instructor it can be effective to use a more dynamic vocabulary to cut through the target person’s mental fog. Use of certain words “the F word” in this format only comes across as vulgar and very poor taste. I just see that her choice to include these will eliminate a large number of people that would otherwise benefit from the message.
The irony here is that the discipline Ms Michaels found to be a life changing tool for herself in her teens could be applied to her speaking skills to help attain her goal of helping a greater number of people.
"A"
This audiobook is simply amazing! Of the hundreds of motivational and inspirational books and recordings I own, this may be the best I have heard. Just as the author explains in the beginning, he has managed to define the core questions many of us have about our life's work. This is also the first book of its kind I have seen that doesn't make assumptions on a persons spiritual convictions regarding a "path in this life". I am strongly Christian in faith and really appreciate the way Mr. Souza demonstrates through countless examples how the responsibility to do or be anything is on us! We are all born with more potential than we will ever use.
