I didn't even finish this story because it was so boring. Battle, fight, 2 minutes of dialogue, then battle, fight, etc. No drama, can't make a connection to the characters, no plot, don't waste your time.
Cops and newspaper guy get together to decide on a plan of action to catch a killer. Hours later, they decide on the plan; no action yet. Boring!
OMG - I just loved this book. I normally do not like Stephen King stories because they're too creepy, but this one was great. There's not too much blood and guts - but a lot of terrifying suspense!
I think that the story is excellent but what really caught me good and fast was the narrator. Will Patton is one of the best narrators I ever heard. He can work so many different characters and they are totally believable. I just finished this book about 10 minutes ago and wanted to put in this review now - excellent!
Although I am a hugh fan of Jim Butcher and the Dresden Files, I was dissapointed in this book mostly due to the writing. Very little action, Dresden's actions were illogical and the story dragged. I would skip it and move on to the next book in the series.
Excellent for young adults or pre-teens / teens. A bit too juvenile for adults, but a good listen which captured my attention and kept me interested. Similar to Narnia.
This book is interesting, fun, imaginative, and held my attention throughout. There were NO dull parts. It was a complete surprise! Bronson Pinchot amazed me because he did all of the characters extremely well. This story has heros, villians, humor and sadness. 5 stars!
