Now, picking up from A Discovery of Witches' cliff-hanger ending, Shadow of Night plunges Diana Bishop and Matthew Clairmont into Elizabethan London, a world of spies, subterfuge, and a coterie of Matthew's old friends, the mysterious School of Night that includes Christopher Marlowe and Walter Raleigh. Here, Diana must locate a witch to tutor her in magic, Matthew is forced to confront a past he thought he had put to rest, and the mystery of Ashmole 782 deepens. Deborah Harkness has crafted a gripping journey through a world of alchemy, time travel, and magical discoveries.

I was in LOVE with the Discovery of Witches! I found that I could not stop listening. I am finding it to much different with Shadow! Where is the "Love" story that had me so interested? I think that there are way too many minute details and not much of what had me captivated in Discovery. The reader is awesome the book is slow! I am half way through and find myself going days without listening. When I do listen I feel it is almost out of obligation to finish rather than the excitement to find out what happens next. Praying for the second half to pick up or I may be "listening" to this book for months!

Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would change nothing about the book!

What did you like best about this story?

    The conflict and Love Story!

How could the performance have been better?

I would prefer the original narration to the new one! The Male Voices are HORRIBLE! I think that the first narration actually sounded better; like a typical 21 year old. Absolutely HATE the new version!

Do you think Fifty Shades Darker needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

YES! LOVE the Midnight Sun/Fifty point of view.

New York Times best-selling author Charlaine Harris has re-imagined the supernatural world with her "spunky" (Tampa Tribune) Southern Vampire novels, starring telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse. Now, for the first time, here is every Sookie Stackhouse short story ever written - together in one volume. The stories include "Fairy Dust", "One Word Answer", "Dracula Night", "Lucky" and "Giftwrap".

A User says: "Good read after Sookie's series"
"Didn't give me my Eric and Bill"
    Overall

Although the stories were fun and interesting, I was left wanting a little more mention of Eric or Bill. How about a few side stories about them and Pam. Didn't give me the fix I needed to get me through until May.
