Since her first appearance on screen in Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews has played a series of memorable roles that have endeared her to generations. But she has never told the story of her life before fame. Until now.

Where does Home rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks number one with me! How wonderful to hear Julie speak about her life. It's like sitting down with her in person and having her tell you all her stories. Simply wonderful!

What other book might you compare Home to and why?

I'd compare it Carol Burnett's "This Time Together" in that it is honest, endearing, often funny and very inspiring.

Have you listened to any of Julie Andrews’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Everything Julie narrates is top notch. Her famous voice and expressive reading make me want to listen to it over and over again.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book touched me is so many different ways it's hard to explain. It made me laugh out loud one minute and cry the next. Julie's ability to just "get on with it" through all circumstances is truly inspiring.

    Any additional comments?

Cannot express how much I love this book and its author! Such wonderful insights into a truly amazing, gifted, talented, inspiring woman.

A vast array of poems old and new joyously celebrates each special day of the year, telling of New Year's resolutions, Valentine's Day love, Easter parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and more. Featuring verse from favorites like Walt Whitman, Jack Prelutsky, and Langston Hughes and poetic lyrics from the likes of Cole Porter and Oscar Hammerstein, plus heartfelt introductions by Julie Andrews describing favorite family holiday moments, this is the perfect collection for families to share together.

This collection includes many old favorites as well as some I've never heard, and a few wonderful poems by Julie and Emma as well.

What does Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Julie and Emma's expressive readings bring each poem and song lyric to jubilant life! What could be better than having that famous voice read to you?!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Delicious Prose
