I read a lot of celebrity biographies. Its kinda my thing. I love them. Usually the books are full of interesting stories that allow you to peak into the celeb's personal life. Ricky Martin's book did this but it also seemed to drag on and on and on talking about the same things over and over and over again. Mainly Menudo! I mean we all know that's where Ricky's fame was first discovered and he will always be famous for his time in Menudo. But ever other paragraph in the book seemed to be about Menudo. Even things in the book that had nothing to do with singing and performing somehow seemed to lead back to Menudo.

UGH!! And here I am doing the exact same thing as the book. Going on and on about Menudo. LOL

So if you NEVER knew Ricky Martin was in Menudo then this is a really good audiobook to listen to.

Sharon Osbourne has lived, in her own words, "50 lives in 50 years". As the daughter of notorious rock manager Don Arden, Sharon's childhood was a chaotic mix of glamour and violence. In her late 20s, after years of fierce loyalty to her ruthless father, who had betrayed her many times, Sharon finally made the painful decision to break with her family. She found her soul mate in rock star Ozzy Osbourne, but their marriage was a white-knuckle ride from the start.

I very much enjoyed this autobiography by Sharon Osborn. I watched the show "The Osborns" on MTW and have always been a fan of Kelly Osborn ... but this book gave me a deeper look into the family that created it all and the amazing woman at the head of it all.

WARNING: Sharon has and EXTREME potty mouth. LOL Don't get me wrong I curse like a sailor myself. But I wasn't expecting her to say the F word and the S word in the first three sentences. But by the end of the book I hardly even noticed the cursing. Its just the way Sharon talks. And I love her filfthy mouth!

I do have to say that this audio book moved me more than I expected and even drew me to tears in the last few lines. Sharon ends the book on such a touching note that it would bring trears to even the most rigid of individuals. Tears came streaming down my face as she completed her story with a touching moment of clarity in her life. It truly was moving. Thats all I can say.

    Definitely Read This Book

Funniest Freaking Book In The World!!!!

A lot of it was silly.
A lot of it made no sense.
A lot of it was meant to be read not listened to.

But above all else the book made me laugh my ass off. Literally laughing out loud. This book is funny on so many different levels and just hearing Ellen's voice brightens up my day.

I watch Ellens show every day and support her in every way possible.

Thankyou Ellen for writing this hilarious book and for making me smile and laugh each and every day.

    GREAT AUDIOBOOK!!! A MUST-LISTEN!!!!!!!!!

In her best selling autobiography, Enter Talking, popular talk show host Joan Rivers told of her struggle for success. In this book, Still Talking, she gives - as only she can - a searing and funny account of her private tragedy, her public fall from grace, and her recent triumph against all odds.

Taking about a lot of depressing mumbo jumbo. Most celeb-bio's are funny and uplifting and give the reader (or listener) a deep look inside of the personal life and emotions of the celeb's life. This audio book on the other hand was just a long sad story about Edgar Rivers. Very little of this book dealt with Joan herself. Yes there were bits and pieces of personal information but everything was about Edgar this and Edgar that. I did not purchase this audio book to hear about the life and times of Edgar Rivers. I wanted to hear about Joan, about the gossip, the plastic surgery, the juicy details of her assorted life. But instead it was the sad and depressing memiors of an old dying man. Edgar Rivers.

If you are going to purchase this audio book to learn about Joan Rivers and her life look elsewhere. That story is not here.

Aside from a few flicks here and there I had no idea who Goldie Hawn was before I read this book. I just knew I have always been a fan of her movies. She is a dynamic individual who faught hard for her place in Hollywood. And frankly I had no idea what a really big success she is till I listened to this book.

This book gets so incredibly deep and revealing. Goldie really shares her true self in this book. Some of the intimite details of the events of her life were painted so vividly. And her voice is so sweet and soothing. From this AudioBook I really got a feeling for who she is as a person and it made me respect her so much for all she has been through and triumphed through. She has such a strong spirit and a heart of Gold ... just like her name, Goldie.

I truly did fall in love with Goldie Hawn when listening to this AudioBook.

    I highly recommend this AudioBook.

I Loved This AudioBook! I love Wendy Williams and always have. I listened to the WendyWilliamsExperiance back in the day and I watch her daytime talk show on FOX every day. She is an inspiration to me and I love just listening to her.

I will admit the AudioBook told a was a little too much about her talk show and about other people (which my girl Wendy loves to talk about other people). But I really wanted to get to know more about Wendy and who she is behind all that. I want to know who Wendy is at home with her man. I want to hear storied about her and little Kevin. I want to know all her views on partenting. And most of all I want to know who Wendy is deep down inside. I mean aside from the celebrity obssession part of her which is more than covered in this AudioBook.

But all in all I LOVED IT !!

I have recommended this book to many people and I will continue to do so.
