"A very interesting listen"
Quite well off.
I love the detail that is included in the book and that it is very practical, but also great simply for information without the need to take particular action.
I have not, but I quite like this one and therefore may look for others.
Probably not all in one sitting because it is a little long, but if you really wanted to, you certainly could.
It is great for a listen through just for informational purposes, but also great to go back and listen to over and over so that you can implement/try out some of the specific techniques mentioned.
"Wow! What a story and wonderfully read too."
The rich descriptions of things happening, the reading - Jeff did a wonderful job!
The arguments were presented really well and the whole story was just enthralling. I couldn't draw myself away.
Pi - definitely. Even his conversations with himself were amazing.
No I haven't, but I'm considering going to find more of his because he read so well.
'The Tiger, the Indian and the Life Boat'...no, not really - Life of Pi works really well.
I read the first few pages of the printed book and was very disappointed. But after reading reviews from others, I decided to listed to the Audio Book.
I'm not sure if it was Jeff's excellent reading, or what, but I loved every second of it! So much so that I will encourage others to read it, and would rate it as one of the best books I've ever read.
"Love Joel Osteen!"
I love Joel Osteen, his message is always great and it's so nice to have him 'speak' for an extended period of time.
Joel's jokes are always great, but really the whole message of this book was great. I don't think I can really pin point one part which was better than the rest.
Joel is a great speaker and although his message would be the same if someone else read it, hearing it directly from him just adds so much more to the book. It's as if he is not reading a book but just speaking directly which is nice.
Sure, you could. I often listen to his sermons which go for between 30 mins to an hour, and they never seem long enough. What we have here is essentially an extended sermon and it's long enough to satisfy, and certainly someone you could come back to after hearing it already.
If you love Joel's sermons, you'll love this book. And if you've never heard Joel's sermons, this is a great place to start!
"Nice to hear the author read the book"
I found that although I'm an Aussie and a lot of the book does not apply to me due to the types of bank accounts and investments we have available, I still really enjoyed the listen and got a great deal of useful information out of it. I had a bit of fun too.
I loved the humor that was a part of the book. I fit really well and made the book really enjoyable.
It's always nice to hear the author read their own book. I feel it added so much more to the book. To hear a phrase said exactly how the author wrote it to sound is so cool and I wish I could have this experience with more of the books I read.
It's just another block in my financial intelligence.
Also that money or finances does not always need to be boring - it can be quite fun to think about and learn about.
Well worth the read, both for the information and also for the fun of it!
