Built on top of the gates of Hell, Grimm City is the Devil's capital on earth. A place where every coffee shop, nightclub and shopping mall is the potential hunting ground for any of the supernatural entities that inhabit the Grimm City world. Death's 17-year-old apprentice, Nathaniel, comes into his own as he leads an uprising against the Devil with the help of a half-dead wraith and a giant hit-man. What results is a bloody, brutal revolt that calls upon the loyalties of both the living and the dead.

I really enjoyed this take on death and having an apprentice. The world is portrayed in an interesting way and even the battle of good verses evil.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Would you consider the audio edition of Hounded to be better than the print version?

    n/a

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hounded?

I love after Atticus's story to his dog about Genghis Khan that for the rest of the book the Oberon wanted to gather the hoards and get his harem of poodles. Also the part were he kills the man in front of the widows house was hilarious.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when everything continued to get worse as Atticus realised that everyone was playing/using him for their own plans.

    Any additional comments?

Loved it. It is full of adventure and comedy from Atticus's character to the comments of his friends it is a great book, and though I don't have it in print now I am going to buy it soon to add it to my collection of books.
