It takes a long time for me to forget a King novel well enough to listen to it a second time. Which sounds like a personal problem.
King compares only to other King
The only narrator to use if new england accent is needed. I would consider a book just because Wasson was the performer.
Being a King fan of many years I enjoyed tie-in to "IT". For any King fan, just get the damn book. You other 15 people, if you are interested in the late 50's early 60's and need a good fiction novel give 'er a try.
somewhere between jawdropping and Oh...how 'bout that.
When the good guys win.
not sure but he is excellent
A normal persons brain would explode if you listened to it all at one time. Let me know when you decide your going to likely listen to it a second time.
history library must have.
Amazing Sci-fi Epic.
All paths converge onto the Great North Road.
It is a Great big book and I enjoyed every little bit of it. Doubtless I will enjoy all of his available work.
Hubris-tic Consequences & Redemption.
A little off the beaten path.
Workman like performance.
I was moved a couple times but by the ending especially.
If your a student of the genre you really should give it a try. If you liked twilight, Fifty shades of grey, or anything by kim harrison you will not like this. no vampires or werewolves.
I am sure i will listen to all the Peter Hamilton books available, because he writes world class science fiction, his books are on the longer side which I like. The narration on his books have so far been very good. If you are a science fiction buff give Peter Hamilton a try he is as good as anybody out there now that i've come across.
Many would prefer Tiganna which is good but i like "Sailing to Sarantium & Lord of Emperors" GG Kay works I believe are Literature and will stand the test of time.
Mankind has opened pandoras genetically modified box and the remodel is a dark and damp vision of the future. A genetically modified apocolypse if you like. I loved this book but it may not be for teenagers.
"A modern community finds itself in the time of the inquisition" This alternative history is the bench mark for comparison to other like novels. The only distressing thing is that there is only one other book from the series available at audible. Great characters, multiple story lines.
Estrogen free Fantasy. The first law series is compelling and gritty. If you are a SFF Fan. Just get this series. If there is anything contemporary as good please let me know. Patrick Rothfuss also has a compelling series out also. Steven Paceys performance is so memorable that when you listen to a later book like "Red Country" and hear San Dan Glokta's voice on a different person it gives you a pause.
At one point in the book the author honors stephen king. you will think of "the stand" thought the differences are a gulf. I burned throught these books and will do the same when the next installment comes out. the series is well written and the Scott Brick performance gets an A.
The first law series is an instant classic. GRR Martin fans are going to love it. The Performance is also top notch. The best of lists for the sff genre will put this series near the top. I am enjoying another Joe Abercrombie novel "Red Country".
