I was frustrated at the end of Shanghai Girls , and it's been a long wait for the sequel. Thankfully, it was worth the wait. I didn't stop listening until it was finished. To fully appreciate this book, you should really listen to Shanghai Girls first. The narration is wonderful in both books.
This was a wonderful book on many levels. An inspiring, emotional, and enlightening story of 9/11 survival ,and of the admirable character of the author and his guide dog. I felt, and learned a lot while listening to this book and would encourage others to experience it too.
I needed a lively listen for my drive to Pittsburgh today. This was exactly the right pick. Never a dull moment. Kathy talks to the listener just like she does in her live performances and TV show. Not a book to play with kids in the car, but I sure enjoyed it on my solo trip.
