After the first sction, this is like having a dictionary read to you. It also seems repetative.
The British author continues to use odd analogies that have no meaning or relevance to American life. This makes for difficulty understanding the emotional parts of the story. What could have been a great threaded story becomes a transcript of uninteresting events.
Odd syntax in some areas but a very entertaining story.
This is not the most inspiring story, but a good understanding of the man's life.
Ths book is one of a kind. It gave me chills and brings tears of pride to my eyes.
I can only take so much of Lewis. This did not have me LOL. It was interesting, but not amusing.

The is just someone reading a diary. Too many days when nothing occured. Try something else.
