    What did you love best about Speaks the Nightbird?

    The interwoven story of fascinating characters that kept me listening for more.


    What did you like best about this story?

    Yes, it has - as nurse healer I am interested in the subject as in days past any healers and good women were burned at the stake as witches.


    Which character – as performed by Edoardo Ballerini – was your favorite?

    He intertwines characters with the history and geology always painting a vivid imagery of the times and places and actions.

    What did you love best about The Scottish Prisoner?

    The interweaving of past into a story of the time. The complexity of the characters.


    What did you like best about this story?

    Jamie's never ending compassion and love for others.


    What about Jeff Woodman and Rick Holmes ’s performance did you like?

    Their voices and use of dialect makes it real. I feel like I am in a hteatre watching a performance.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Diana Gabaldon's books always leave me with a sense of my Scottish heritage. I laugh and cry and at times am left standing at the abyss.


    Any additional comments?

    I anticipate each of her books. I hope Claire comes back again. Some of the wonderful things about Gabaldon's books is her use of herbology that Claire uses. As a holistic nurse I love this and she does her research and is knowledgeable.
