This was a good book and I love Carl Weber. The narrators however were awesome! They were clear, animated and made listening to the book enjoyable.
I hate reading a book where you can't even like the main characters of the book. These women are deadbeat moms who are happy being side chicks as long as they get money. The only one female you could possibly like is dumb for sticking with a guy who obviously treats her like crap. Not for me, not relatable.
I like how this story played out. At first I thought that this book had nothing to do with Christian fiction, but I did like how she turned her life over to God & find herself during the process instead of being who everyone told her to be.
The title made me not want to buy it, but I read the reviews & thought I would give it a try. This book is nothing but a bunch of church foolishness of Pimps and Gangster preachers. Even the main characters weren't likable to me. This is not a Christian fiction book where you can identify with the characters. It's more of a stereotypical idea of Pastors being pimps to me, carrying guns, macking on women 😐👎.
A story of first ladies who come together at a conference and go thinking they are needed there to help others while they are dealing with their own issues. Little do they know they were the ones in need of healing. The struggles of being a first lady in marriage.
This is definitely worth the read and the way it ended I am hoping for a sequel to see who Chloe's next victim will be.
I was a little skeptical when I bought this because I have read other books by Lutisha Lovely and I knew it could be a hit or miss. I have read books by her that have left me mad that I spent my money. This is not that book! This story is good and so unpredictable. I think I figured out one thing during this crazy story, but it is definitely worth the read. I am hoping that there is a part two, the way it was left I can definitely see another one coming.
Buying the sequel at the same time I bought the original is where I went wrong. I could not relate to these three childish women and there crazy relationships and fake friendships.
This book is supposed to be about friendship, but with friends like these who needs enemies. This book is about a bunch of trifling girls who screw over the good men in their life and keep letting the crazy ones in. There is a story in here, but surely not a relatable one for me.
This book was good and I loved the way the narrator kept you interested in the story. I definitely recommend this book.
This book was pretty good book and I love the fact that the audio version used sound effects to make the book come to life, like a cell phone ringing or a car moving while they were in the car. This was definitely an entertaining audio as well as story. The narrator was also good.
