The murder of 18-year-old Angie Vance was exceptionally vile - her mouth was sealed with glue, an obscenity scrawled was across her skin, and she was suffocated in a garbage bag. The killing seems personal, so police detective Carina Kincaid focuses her efforts on the victim's much older ex-boyfriend, Steve Thomas. But without physical evidence, Carina can't make a collar or a case. She also can't stop Sheriff Nick Thomas, the prime suspect's brother, from conducting his own unwelcome investigation.

What did you like best about Speak No Evil: A Novel? What did you like least?

Nothing stands out in my mind to say what I liked best. The book was just another psycho killer story just like what is on TV every week. Nothing special or gripping.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Tim Lundeen?

    Yes

Did Speak No Evil: A Novel inspire you to do anything?

Wait for the new season of Criminal Minds this fall.

    Any additional comments?

I just wish there was a little more creativity in the story. It's almost like some of these books are fast food. It tastes pretty good while you are eating it, but after you are done you wonder why you ate it. Nothing special.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    A Dan Brown super fan

What was most disappointing about Dan Brown’s story?

It follows the same formula as all his other books.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Paul Michael?

    I have no idea

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. I was hoping for something more creative.

    Any additional comments?

Please Dan Brown, stop writing the same books with different story lines. I could not even finish the book. This will probably be my last Dan Brown book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend this book to a friend.

What did you like best about this story?

It ws a true story about true heroes.

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    The book was read perfectly.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    True American Heroes

    Any additional comments?

Living in the DC area on 9/11/2001, and knowing someone in the Pentagon that was killed, I found this book fascinating. Regardless of what the actual details are of how the mission took place, it needed to be done. It made me proud to be an American to think about those Navy Seals training and executing the mission to perfection.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.
