Experience Macbeth as a powerful full-cast drama with entertaining and enlightening commentary that explains what's what and who's who as the plot unfolds. To help you get the most out of Shakespeare, the narrator offers historical insights and background information, so you can enjoy the jokes, appreciate the references, and get a real sense of Shakespeare's world.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I always recomend Shakespeare to friends, because it's like a tepanyaki grill, even when the performance is dismal, it's still entertaining.

What did you like best about this story?

The performance of the actress(es) playing the part of the wierd sisters was fantastic. Uber Creepy, without being lame.

What aspect of the narrators’s performance would you have changed?

SLOW DOWN!!! The entire cast talks to dang fast, it makes it difficult to understand.

Did Macbeth inspire you to do anything?

Actually yes, I murdered one of my rivals. Thus ensuring that I get a promotion MUWAHHAHA!!!

    Any additional comments?

The complete works of William Shakespeare should be required reading for a high school diploma.

Car mechanic Mercy Thompson has always known there was something different about her, and not just the way she can make a VW engine sit up and beg. Mercy is a shapeshifter, a talent she inherited from her long-gone father. She's never known any others of her kind. Until now.

If you could sum up River Marked in three words, what would they be?

    Mercy kills monsters

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mercy of course! Patricia Briggs' leading lady is back, and as cool as ever.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She's better at differentiating character's voices than I am.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really, there's plenty of laughs, action, suspense, ect...

    Any additional comments?

While I admit River Marked isn't the best book of the Mercy Thompson-Hauptman series, it's still excellent. And as a guy who's a fan of strong female leads, I really appreciate that Mercy isn't a damsel in distress, nor is this series a romance veiled as an urban fantasy. Sure there's romance, but not smutty, but there's also laughs, action, suspense, and very well defined characters. I recomend the entire series to anyone who enjoys urban fantasies.

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

Would you try another book from Molly Harper and/or Amanda Ronconi?

    Maybe

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mo. Any girl willing to clobber a p.o.'ed werewolf with a fire extinguisher is ok in my book.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

Her inability to do men's voices was so pathetic that it was cute.

Do you think The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    Like what?

    Any additional comments?

    It didn't suck.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hexed to be better than the print version?

Um, kinda the same. Except Luke Daniels is better at individualizing characher voices than I am.

What did you like best about this story?

What's not to like about a 2100 year old Druid with a talking dog?

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only the Iron Druid series, all excellent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I'm a truck driver, so I have long hours to fill. I did listen to it in about 24 hours

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

What did you love best about Hounded?

    Great story, and interesting characters.

What other book might you compare Hounded to and why?

The Dresden Files series. Jim Butcher is the only author of urban fantasy that can even open the jar, let alone cut the mustard compared to Hearne.

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only the Iron Druid series, all of wich were great performances.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole book had me captivated from start to finish.

After centuries, Viking vampire Leif Helgarson is ready to get his vengeance, and he’s asked his friend Atticus O’Sullivan, the last of the Druids, to help take down this Norse nightmare. One survival strategy has worked for Atticus for more than two thousand years: stay away from the guy with the lightning bolts. Would you listen to Hammered again? Why?

I've already listened to it twice.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hammered?

I love Oberon's nonfat 5 cheese bacon latte monologue

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

He is a fantasic narrator. Individual voices, accuate accents, nuf said.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Thor is a giant asshat and deserves to die!

    Any additional comments?

The Iron Druid series is one of the best urban fantasies ever. Kevin Hearne is second only to Jim Butcher.

In his introduction to Coyote &, Joe Hayes says, “Many American Indian stories are sacred. They are part of the religion of the people who tell them, and so belong to just one tribe or sometimes just a part of the tribe. Sometimes Coyote plays a role in these religious stories. But the coyote stories in this collection are different. They are told for entertainment. They are especially loved by children, who delight in Coyote’s foolish antics.”

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There wasn't anything wrong with the book itself, but the narrators' performance was lousy.
His character voices, and expressions were horrible.

What could Joe Hayes have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Call in sick, so producers hire a new narrator.

How could the performance have been better?

    ACTING LESSONS!!!!!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I removed one of my shoes at a red light, and beat the heck out of the radio.

    Any additional comments?

    Nope.
