Someone decided that all it takes to make an audiobook is to DUMP the CDs to a audio file. They were WRONG.
DON'T buy a book that is broken into multiple files in MID-SENTENCE. They didn't care, why should you!
No characters, no plot, no point. Don't waste your time. It this is a 'prize winning' book, then it is the booby prize!
Another CD dump. No effort was made to produce this novel for modern audible devices. IF I HAD WANTED THIS AS A SERIES OF CDs, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT ON CDs.
Stops about half way thru. Another audible.com quality release!
Minimum 15 words and 25 characters
pass this one by. It is EXTREMELY boring. To compensate for that it is also badly produced. The audio files are simply chopped into pieces with no regard for actual chapters. Another dump from the CD without any care taken to reformat for mp3 players.
An old premise (see Twilight Zone), not well executed. Nothing comes together and there is no moral to this story. Just mindless cruelty.
Read Duma Key or even Cell. Let this one sit, like the Dome, unopened.
Just what one has come to expect from a Steven King novel. Well worth your time and money.
Not a coherent collection of writings. Simply an attempt to profit from the "Perfect Storm." Pass it by.
What a waste of time! A terrible, disjointed book without a point.
