The inspiration for the hit television series Medium, Allison DuBois now brings listeners into her psychic experiences in We Are Their Heaven. Recalling her communication with spirits who have touched her over the years, she reveals that the dead are trying to reach their loved ones all the time, not because they're bound to us, but because we are their happiness, we are their heaven.

What did you love best about Sensing Spirit?

The content and the personal stories about mediumship and the afterlife.

What other book might you compare Sensing Spirit to and why?

    Anything by James Van Praagh

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes, but I just did not enjoy his voice. It is a thick Australian accent but extremely feminine for a guy.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

The stories were all very engaging, interesting and comforting.

    Any additional comments?

Overall, a fabulous book. I started to get more used to his voice, but it definitely impacts my excitement to listen. He is very well spoken though.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Some more excitement in the narration. I have listened to other Michael Newton books but this was just so monotone and boring. It really is painful to listen to although I am very interested in the content.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Haven't reached it yet. I'm not sure if I will finish.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is one (slow) pace and really boring.

We're all spiritual beings with a spiritual support system on the Other Side that oversees and helps guide our lives from the moment we're born to the moment we leave our physical bodies and return to Spirit. Not knowing this fact is a severe handicap, as the Universe is designed to care for and nurture all its creatures and help make our life's journey easier and more successful.

If you could sum up Ask Your Guides in three words, what would they be?

Overall, the content was pretty good. It has a variety of information regarding your guides and angels. Quite a bit of the content was unique. She is a little odd though but I could get past her quirkiness in most occassions although it did get a little boring at times.

Would you consider the audio edition of Spirited to be better than the print version?

I had never heard of Rebecca Rosen prior to listening to this book despite the fact that I read almost every book out there on this subject. Well, I plesently surprised. Her voice is sweet, her honesty inviting and he experiences fascinating. You really feel like she cares when you listen to this book in addition to expanding your knowledge on mediumship. She brings up many subjects and components to mediumship so anyone should feel likey they are learning something too. I wish she would write more book and now I would love to see her work. Thank you!

What about Rebecca Rosen’s performance did you like?

Her voice is sweet but not annoying. She is candid and doesn't sugarcoat things. You feel like you are listening to a friend.

What disappointed you about Developing Your Own Psychic Powers?

I downloaded this after I had read Infinite Quest because I loved Infinite Quest so much and wanted more.....Unfortunately so many of the stories and examples are EXACTLY the same as the ones discussed in IQ. Furthermore, the recording quality is clearly much less sophisticated as sometimes you can actually hear other things going on in the background. Save your money on this expensive collection but download Infinite Quest instead.

Would you ever listen to anything by John Edward again?

    Yes, Absolutely.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

There was background noise and conversation.

    Any additional comments?

I really appreciate and respect John Edward. He has obviously evolved over the years. I just wish that with all of his new experiences that he wouldn't have recycled the same stories and examples. This collection should probably be retired but if it is the only set that you download, it is still good.
