I was disappointed that there was more guessing than real answers. Per the professor, sources are scarce but then went on to do a lot speculating about things he and his colleagues really don't know. This is not helpful. I stuck out the whole lecture hoping it would get better which it did only marginally, cringing as it went along. I was reminded of Paul's statement, "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
I found the book interesting but not engrossing. If you're a novice to this era of spying this is not the first book to start on. The narration was a bit dry.
I don't care for sex and foul language in my books and knowing this was made into an R rated movie I purchased it cautiously. I was pleasantly surprised. I would label the book PG-13. There is no explicit sex and while there is some swearing it was not gratuitous or excessive. The book has a great moral and a postive message. After listening to the book I looked up the summary of the movie. It doesn't sound like the movie is much like the book at all. I'm glad I listened to the book. I would rate it in the top 3 that I have listened to so far.
Amusing but far fetched book for adults. The last half was particularly laborious for me.
The reading and story were enjoyable. Warning to sensitive ears - the 'F' word is used a lot.
