For years, ex–Navy SEAL Maxwell Moore has worked across the Middle East and behind the scenes for the Special Activities Division of the CIA, making connections, extracting valuable intelligence, and facing off against America’s enemies at every turn. And then...news of a potentially devastating coalition: What if two of the greatest threats to the security of the United States were to form an unholy alliance?

I love Clancy books and audible reading in general. This book was such a disappointment. Shallow, predictable writing. Forced story line. He needs to go back to the writing style that made him successful. Terrible reader, too. Couldn't someone of Clancy's stature get a John Lee or anyone other than Weber?

Would you try another book from Dan Brown and/or Paul Michael?

Not unless it was free from the library and the reviews were outstanding.

Has Inferno turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, but I will be very careful to read all the reviews before I buy another one.

Did Paul Michael do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Yes, by voice.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Inferno?

half the descriptive narratives. I wanted to read an action book, not a tourist guide book.

    Any additional comments?

This book was so hard to slog through, that I finally gave up and didn't finish it which is very unusual for me.

Would you try another book from W. E. B. Griffin and/or Scott Brick?

I've read and listened to all of W.E.B. Griffin's other series several times each. This must have been his first attempt to write with his son. It was an awful book. I couldn't finish it. Random characters, pointless dialogue, wandering storyline. Admirable idea; terrible outcome.

Would you ever listen to anything by W. E. B. Griffin again?

Preferably a book written by him alone.

Would you be willing to try another one of Scott Brick’s performances?

Yes, Scott Brick is great - I've listened to him many times.

What character would you cut from The Fighting Agents?

    The first 5 at least!

    Any additional comments?

Read Griffin's early series. They are amazing.

Would you listen to Broken Harbor again? Why?

Broken Harbor is a definite re-listen, both for missed nuances while trying to solve the mystery, and for the absolute enjoyment of Stephen Hogan's voices.

The death of Sylvia Kaye figured dramatically in Thursday afternoon's edition of the Oxford Mail. By Friday evening Inspector Morse had informed the nation that the police were looking for a dangerous man facing charges of wilful murder, sexual assault, and rape. But as the obvious leads fade into twilight and darkness, Morse becomes more and more convinced that passion holds the key.

What would have made Last Bus to Woodstock better?

Let the wonderful Kevin Whatley read the unabridged book! I was so excited to see that he was narrating the books on which the tv series he was such a great part of was based, but so much of the book was left out,t hat I couldn't finish it.

Has Last Bus to Woodstock turned you off from other books in this genre?

    Yes, if they are abridged
