She has a great voice and persona.

I like her and I was able to find out about other performances of hers by listening to her book (Lovespring International is hilarious!). There is nothing too surprising in her memoirs, and I did not come away from it seeing the world differently, but it was enjoyable to hear her tell her story in her own voice.

Wheaton is probably my favorite narrator, period. And, the fact that he was Crusher does give an added "meta" bonus to this particular story.

Its great for the genre and a fun guilty pleasure.

Well, I don't think I'm Mayberry's target audience, perhaps, because most folks love his stuff.

I found the bravado of the characters to be just a bit too gratuitous. For my taste, it just had too much "Listen here, I'm the baddest bad ass in town, and if you don't like it, shove it." While some of that is enjoyable, it seemed like it was the central theme.

Again, it was not bad... it was just hard for me to suspend my disbelief in the face of so much bravado. A lot of other folks thought it was great, and I did listen to the whole thing. Perhaps I was expecting to much from this genre.

Not a bad book, but it also was not profound, nor particularly exciting or funny. I just was never pulled into it and I had hoped - after reading the reviews - that it would have been a pleasure. For me, it just passed the time.

I expected a story about becoming a comedian, which would have been enjoyable enough. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Greg crafted a story that was vivid, poignant, and relevant, as well as really funny. Thanks!
