This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

If you could sum up The Name of the Wind in three words, what would they be?

    Definition of Insane

Who was your favorite character and why?

Didn't really have one, author never gave me the character I could relate to.

What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great, although his accents were a little bland.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No.

    Any additional comments?

Author writes in circles, repeating the same events with sidestories thrown in over and over; very repetitive.

Richard Forthrast created T’Rain, a multibillion-dollar, massively multiplayer online role-playing game. But T’Rain’s success has also made it a target. Hackers have struck gold by unleashing REAMDE, a virus that encrypts all of a player’s electronic files and holds them for ransom. They have also unwittingly triggered a deadly war beyond the boundaries of the game’s virtual universe - and Richard is at ground zero.

Would you listen to Reamde again? Why?

No, I never listen to books more than once.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Chongor, he was the most related character.

Have you listened to any of Malcolm Hillgartner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, was my first I enjoyed it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really, it was action all the way through.

    Any additional comments?

Wasn't really into the whole Jihadest plot.
