"Excitment Around Every Corner"
The narrator does an unbelievably great job, both gender voices. The story is so well written you can see the characters in your imagination. The story takes you back to the late 1600's when so called witches were burned at the stake. The main character does his own investigation to reveal all kinds of hidden secrets in this small town where all the people are anxious to see a woman burned at the stake. The sad part is I think this story was probably quit close to what it was like during the Salem Witch Hunts. All the innocent women burned to death but this one character has an open mind and can see beyond it all. Great story, excellent narrator.
Mathew and the Magistrate.
Laughter mixed with some sadness for the innocent victim in the book
Swan Song is another great book by the same author Robert McCammon. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
"Funny and Entertaining"
Funny, entertaining, and realistic
Every day I listen during my drive to work laughing out loud. I have been late more than once because I want to finish the chapter. You won't be sorry, Stephanie the main character is great and her life is full of surprises. I have bought the next one in the series and can't wait to get started. The narrator does a great job too.
"Great Series"
The characters and the narrator all together has made a wonderful series. I have listened to the entire series and have enjoyed each one.
Listening to the voices of the characters bring the story alive. The narrator does a wonderful job doing both the female and male voices. Every now and then a new character comes in and will sound very similar to a previous characters voice but all in all she does a wonderful job.
"Addicted"
Once I started this series I am just plowing through them all; the sisterhood. I listen to and from work and find myself in the parking lot getting one more paragraph in. The story is great. The narrator does a wonderful job in my opinion given male voices are very difficult for women. She does great! Once you get to about the 4th or 5th one? hard to figure out the next in the series. I goggled Fern Michaels series and got a list to help me figure out which one was next; since a few of them do not have the sisterhood in the title. Like Hokus Pokus. I really am enjoying them all.
