"Just keep driving"
yes, a good combination from both imaginations
it was creepy little story
good narration
ooh, no movie!
If you watch the Walking Dead, you can listen to this creeply little story.
"Noah's wife"
Yes I would but I now realize she took a lot of literary license with this classic bible storey
narrator voice matched well with her character
yes, made for TV type thing,
It became a little far fetched when part of the story centered on a parasol and mammoths.
"A Fictional look into TVLand"
Its a nice light read. Characters you care about. Not too deep. How a TV show is made was interesting.
Anytime Ruthie's Grandmother was around.
Great narration. Voice matched lead character well.
You felt for Ruthie's idealism.
Summer Beach type of read.
"Hotels - The Real Story"
Its just darn funny.
A behind the scenes look.
Tommy - the writer and narrator
I have done many of the things observed in the book. So embarrassing.
A fun read
"Great Listening Entertainment"
The story is well written and well passed. Characters you care about. Great narration. Light and mysterious. Just a really great read!
The off beat story line
Cant give that away.
Just when I should the book should be over it takes a twist. love that!
"A forever story"
Great story, with many layers and characters all of which you believe to be real. Beautifully read. Its a committment though, because its 17 hours and because of all the people you have to keep track of with spanish names and places. Someone suggested using the book as a reference while listening if you get lost. Good idea. If you read Cutting for Stoneor Pillars of the Earth or any other stories like that you wil enjoy this too.
Daniel's experiences in the old deserted spanish home of Julians long lost love. The house becomes a central point for drawing all the characters and sub-plots together.
He is an excellent narrator. His voice never detracts or overwhelms the story itself.
It really is a love story, a book within a book.
"Inside view to an historical event"
I like reading what life was like during this time.
The enviornment, beliefs, life of rich romans, technology of the aquaducts.
yes,excellent narrator.
yes it could be a premium channel mini-series
I have to admit, I didnt finish it. It just took long to get to the big bang.
"What does go on behind prison walls?"
Transcending Spirit Love
You may have met the hero before quiet and strong. And you may have met the heroine before annoyingly dysfunctional and blind with love. However the combination with transcending mortal failings was new for me.
Great match of voices to characters
It would have to be the final prison yard scene, when Danny transcends all the ties that bond him.
"Beautiful Singing"
The story's characters are as real as the people i see everyday. It is a wonderful, painful, dreamlike love story. It feels like the ending is abrupt. Only later did i realize it made me just like the people in the story would have felt. There was no other ending possible.
"A spiritual thriller"
I liked it Nothing earth shattering but a good story. Well read Characters you care about. Unusual ending but satisfying.
