Yes, I usually wait a year or two to re-listen to a book, but it is rare that I listen to the same story twice. This one goes on the list though.
Vince Flynn is my favorite author. I was sad to see the medical news, and was a little worried about the quality of this book. It was great! This one has vaulted to the 2nd or 3rd on my best of this series (Consent to Kill will be hard to ever knock off #1).
This series has been one of my favorites, along with Mitch Rapp and Alex Hawke. I have to say I was disappointed in this audiobook. I missed the excellent narration by Dick Hill, but Jonathan Davies did an ok job. Butterworth was the co-author and I think that had more to do with The Outlaws being a downgrade from the rest in the series. The characters personalities were different throughout the book, and the ending was abrupt and dull. Still worth a listen if you have followed Castillo, but if you're trying to decide between it and another keep this in mind.
The "porn" in this book made it the first book that I have turned off in the first 30 minutes to an hour. I don't mind a little sex or language in a book, but this is ridiculous. It got worse and more ludicrous as it went and when it finally hit a point where Charlie Sheen would have even gagged I turned it off.
