The ever after, the demonic realm that parallels our own, is shrinking, and if it disappears, so does all magic. It’s up to witch-turned-daywalking-demon Rachel Morgan to fix the ever-after before the fragile balance between magic users and humans fails. Of course, there’s also the small fact that she caused the ley line to rip in the first place, and her life is forfeit unless she can fix it.

A lot happened in this book. As a matter of fact, the action never stopped. It was hard to stop listening. In fact, I looked down and it was 3:30 in the morning. One thing I like about these books is that over the course of the series, the characters have grown and changed. They learn from their prior experiences. Rachel is that much more capable because of the lessons she has learned previously. We lost some characters in this volume that I'll be sad to see go but those losses let us see other characters in a new light. I like how it is much easier to understand Al than in the beginning and that Rachel understands why some characters do the things they do. And I loved how much Trent and Rachel there was in the book. He has always been one of my favorite characters and I always thought they would somehow end up together in the end. That said, I do miss Kisten still. I liked seeing more into the past of the demons and that Rachel has grown very comfortable considering herself a demon. The denouement of the main storyline with everyone working together was very satisfying. I hope to see more of that in the future. Everyone we're used to seeing in these books shows up at some point and some threads are wrapped up from previous books. The narrator was spot on as always. I love how I can always tell who's speaking and that she keeps the voices consistent from book to book. I'm definately looking forward to the next book in the series.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

I guess I'm a bit like Hazel, I want to know what happens to the characters after the end of the book. I thought this book was wonderful. I cried copious amounts of tears for the last two hours of the book, but then, I expected to cry so it didn't really bother me but I hadn't expected to laugh as much as I did. I had a hard time sleeping last night because I laid awake wondering what happened next? I can make some assumptions but as I really liked the characters I would be happier knowing. The book was well written and seemed very honest. I've never known a young person with cancer so I can't say from experience but they seemed very real to me. I'll probably listen to this book again in a few months or so to pick up the things I just didn't catch. I highly recommend this and I'm going to listen to more of his books. This was my first of John Green's. Kate Rudd did a great job as narrator.

I'm really fond of this series. I love Georgie and Darcy and the mysteries they solve. Overall, this wasn't one of my favorite entries but it was still enjoyable. There was a brief cameo by Georgie's grandfather that felt like it was shoehorned in only to be able to see him in the book and Belinda really didn't add much to the story. The mystery itself felt a bit rushed though I did understand the motivations of the killer. I liked seeing so much of Georgie and Darcy together and it's nice that Georgie probably has someone to stay for a while. Jack was a fun character and I hope that he shows up more in the future. Katherine Kellgren did a good job narrating, though sometimes her delivery was a bit over the top. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I think this might have been my favorite entry in the series. There was a lot of action, a lot of romance, and many appearances by the characters we've come to know throughout the whole series. It's nice to see the continued rehabilitation of Mallory and the apparent end of one of the arcs that's been going on over the last several books. The book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can't wait until the next one comes out. Sophie Eastlake as narrator did a fantastic job.

I enjoyed most of the stories in this anthology immensely. It's added some series of books to my to read list. I really enjoyed the story Holly's Balm that revisited characters from Strange Brew. The narrators did a good job and I did like the fact that all the stories weren't read by the same person. I think I'll probably be re-listening to this anthology at some point because I do love short stories.

This is the second book in this series, though you don't really have to have read the first one to enjoy this one. I bought the first one in one of the surprise $4.95 library sales and when I got around to listening to it, I completely enjoyed it. This one is just as enjoyable with a completely different storyline. The storyline was believable and seemed real and I really liked the characters. It was nice to see some of the characters in the first book briefly. The narrator was good though I could hear her breathing and swallowing occasionally. She isn't one who I would go seek out other books read by her but I would definitely listen to her again.

Unable to control their beasts, many of the Pack’s shape-shifting children fail to survive to adulthood. While there is a medicine that can help, the secret to its making is closely guarded by the European packs, and there’s little available in Atlanta. Kate can’t bear to watch innocents suffer, but the solution she and Curran have found threatens to be even more painful. The European shape-shifters who once outmaneuvered the Beast Lord have asked him to arbitrate a dispute - and they’ll pay him in medicine.

This book really seems to have moved the storyline forward. It was very cool to see all the familiar characters in an unfamiliar setting, it was nice to get them out of Atlanta. It was also interesting to see how another part of the world is dealing with the world shift toward magic. I love how Kate seems to grow in her magic and her personality with every book. She learns how to do something by trial and error, not just a giant leap. The storyline with the bodyguarding reminds a bit of the earlier books but I love how Kate is in charge because she is the one with the experience. I'll miss the character who didn't make it through the book but I can't wait to see what happens next with this. It'll seem like a long time before the next book comes out. Renee Raudman did a fantastic job as usual. Her voices were consistent with the previous books and she manages to make every character sound distinct.

I really enjoyed this book although it started really slowly. I had to push myself to keep with it and I'm very glad that I did. I didn't see the twist coming and the look at London wth supernatural elements was very fun. I much enjoyed the British slang though sometimes I wasn't quite sure what was meant. The narrator did a fabulous job and I very much liked the sound of his voice.

Charley Davidson isn’t your everyday, run-of-the-mill grim reaper. She’s more of a paranormal private eye/grim reaper extraordinaire. However, she gets sidetracked when the sexy, sultry son of Satan, Reyes Farrow, moves in next door. To further complicate matters, Reyes is her main suspect in an arson case. Charley has vowed to stay away from him until she can find out the truth... but then dead women start appearing in her apartment, one after another, each lost, confused, and terrified beyond reason.

I love how much of Charley and Reyes there is in this book. The murder mystery of the women seemed like it took a backseat to them, which was fine with me. The serial killer (yet another one) was interesting but it's much more fun to look at the relationships between the main characters. I do wish UB would just ask Cookie out already. The book progressed the overarching storyline along with a good amount of new information that only Reyes seems to have known before and of course, Charley gets beat up again. Charley's naming everything in sight is getting a bit overdone but overall I enjoyed listening. I can't wait to see what happens next. Lorelei King did a wonderful job as narrator as always.

The evolution of the storyline from the first book totally ended up in a different place from where I would have thought it was going to go in the last book. Zara is a wonderful main character and I'm happy with the one of her romantic triangle she ends up with. I enjoyed this story. It moved several storylines further down the line and showed some growth in Merit's personal relationships. She seems to be putting her relationship with Mallory back together and it was nice to see her actually have a decent conversation with her father. There wasn't really a whole lot of Catcher in this story but it was great to finally learn what Jeff shifts into. I loved the back story on Peter Cadogan and the return of some people we'd seen before. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Sophie Eastlake did fine as a narrator but I thought she actually did better on the previous book.
