Amy Scobee yes. Danielle Plaso, not so sure.
Yes. If it is about scientology.
An older voice. This voice sounds very young. It doesn't suit the subject matter. It is read like a teen novel, which is very surreal. Emphases are very strange. I had to go back and listen to some sentences again to understand.
Audio quality is very poor and the quality changes a lot. Later recordings are edited in..quite sloppy. "Notes" are recorded with a different microphone...sounds like an old fashioned phone microphone...quite annoying and I don't get the point...
Informative, honest, shocking
The honesty and straight forward attitude. Also very informative and well explained, easy to understand for a non-scientologist. The world of scientology is explained well, including lingo, positions, history and rules. It takes a lot of courage to expose yourself like this to the world and I commend Jenna MH for her courage and thank her for sharing her story with us.
The voice, which is quite young, suited the book very well. I felt like I was listening to Jenna read the book. She was also very articulate and involved in the text. It felt more like somebody telling me the story (Jenna) then somebody reading for me.
In a world of complete conviction, control and manipulation one girl dared to stand up for herself. This is her story.
If you are a non-scientologist and you want to know what the world is like on the inside of ST then look no further. I hope a lot of people read this book and become educated on scientology and the terrible practices that go on behind closed doors. The more people are educated the less tolerance ST will have and the fewer members ST will get. So read and become educated.
