A thrill-seeking Harvard linguistics professor and an ultrasecret branch of the Catholic Church go head-to-head in a race to uncover the secrets of the lost city of Atlantis. The ruins of the technologically-advanced, eerily-enigmatic ancient civilization promise their discoverer fame, fortune, and power... but hold earth-shattering secrets about the origin of man.

Lynne says: "Narration ruined the story"

There is nothing I enjoy better than a book that is based in enough reality as to be plausible, and yet incorporate such creativity and imagination as to completely suspend one's belief. I loved it.

In the year 2036, the world's best boarding school is the Stansbury School. The students are screened at a young age and then given 12 years of the finest education and developmental drug regimen available. But when several alumni are murdered, school officials decide to keep the police in the dark. They discreetly ask the school's valedictorian to solve the mystery, but he discovers that the most obvious culprit, the school's chemically imbalanced delinquent and his own nemesis, is being framed.

Aaron says: "Lazy writing, utterly cliche story"
    "Unexpected Surprise"
    Overall

I found this book to have been intellectually engaging, but full of excitement and unexpected twists. I'm looking forward to reading (or listening to) the author's next book.
