I watched him on some talk show and was intrigued. I then saw clips of his interview with Oprah and just thought he was too "good" and "smiley" to be true. I had a few credits on my account so I thought, "What the heck?". I am glad that I did.

His book is full of interesting stories and side notes. He reads it so well and kept me and my husband interested the whole time. During the final chapters, I kept looking at my Iphone to see how much was left. I didn't want it to end. Having just finished the book, it feels as if I had family come visit for a week and they have just driven out of the drive way. I smile because they were here but saddened that they are gone.

Good book....definitely worth the listen.

Leila Meacham, in my opinion, is one of the best writers I have ever read. The complexity of her characters is beautiful and the story a story full of depth.

I couldn't put the book down or should I say take the ear bud out. Truly an amazing book. Even my husband enjoyed listening to it.

If you read the trilogy you will love this book and how it all ties into them. And you understand how it all comes together. Beautifully written, extremely fast paced and at the end you just say Ahhh! Read it.. Read the others first then read this one.

This was an amazing book. It was very well written and left me feeling a great deal of respect and admiration for Esther. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to know more about her or for anyone wanting to meet a strong young lady who is full of grace and compassion.
