At their enthusiastic behest, we have delivered this brand-new short story collection, including stories previously exclusive to Sherrilyn's website, as well as an all-new, never-before seen Dark-Hunter story! Would you listen to Dark Bites again? Why?

These are the stories that I've had to scramble in the past to read on Kindle. Plus, the new story of Bathemeus & Heracles is a must-read! Alluded to in Styxx, now you get the full back story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hard to say - with short stories, there are so many favorite characters, but I'd have to say that the story of Bathemeus & Heracles to be my favorite.

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Fred Berman has always done a great job reading Sherrilyn Kenyon. I can fall seamlessly into his books, and not have to replay the beginning a number of times, as with some readers.

Country bred Lucy Craddock-Hayes is content with her quiet life, until the day she trips over an unconscious man - a naked unconscious man - and loses her innocence forever. Viscount Simon Iddesleigh was nearly beaten to death by his enemies. Now he's hell-bent on vengeance. But as Lucy nurses him back to health, her honesty startles his jaded sensibilities - even as it ignites a desire that threatens to consume them both. Yet as his honor keeps him from ravishing her, his revenge sends his attackers to her door.

Would you try another book from Elizabeth Hoyt and/or Moira Quirk?

It's a little iffy after reading this book, if I could continue reading Elizabeth Hoyt books. I really enjoyed the Four Soldier books, and enjoyed The Raven Prince, but it was like slogging thru mud reading The Serpent Prince.

The hero, Simon, irritated me when in one part of the novel he kept saying "I'm sorry". I just wanted to scream! And Lucy was just too good to be true. She didn't really have any redeeming faults.

The minor characters were more interesting than the hero and heroine!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Something different -- maybe a book by Sherrilyn Kenyon. A Night Hunter book.

Did Moira Quirk do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Moira Quirk did fine.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The minor characters, especially Hedge and Newton.

If you could sum up The Raven Prince in three words, what would they be?

The main characters have flaws, and more dimension, than you often come across in a romance. And I really enjoy the start of each chapter, as the author intertwines a fairy tale of sorts, relating to her main story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Earl -- he's pockmarked, and ugly, quoting Mrs. Wren, yet for all that, it makes him so much more likable and interesting as the book progresses.

Which character – as performed by Moira Quirk – was your favorite?

    Anna Wren

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Just the pragmatic way Anna takes life in stride, even though she has been hurt so much in the past

    Any additional comments?

Elizabeth Hoyt has a special way of writing, that is very different from so many romance writers, with a good historic background.

Damien Knight, the earl of Winterley, is proud, aloof, and tormented by memories of war. Though living in seclusion, he is named guardian to a fellow officer's ward. Instead of the young homeless waif he was expecting, however, Miranda FitzHubert is a stunning, passionate beauty who invades his sanctuary and forces him back into society. Struggling to maintain honor and self-control, Damien now faces an even greater threat: desire.

Would you try another book from Gaelen Foley and/or Emma Greene?

Yes for Gaelen Foley, absolutely not if it's read by Emma Greene. I had already listened to Gaelen Foley's

Would you be willing to try another book from Gaelen Foley? Why or why not?

    Yes, I've listened to

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Emma Greene?

My first choice is always Simon Prebble -- he just does a great job. Next would be Jenny Stierlin, or Tavia Gilbert, or Barbara Rosenblatt.

Do you think Lord of Ice needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

As this is already part of a series, and not the last book, I'd say no. I'm sure the author will continue to show bits and pieces of Damien and Miranda's romance.

    Any additional comments?

Definitely will continue to read Gaelen Foley's books as long as Emma Greene isn't reading !
